Seven factories to come up at Khazaen Economic City in Oman

Muscat: Three agreements have been signed by Khazaen Economic city to establish seven factories.

A statement issued online said: "In conjunction with the November celebrations and in continuation of Khazaen’s efforts in attracting local and foreign investments, we are pleased to announce the signing of three agreements to establish seven factories on an area of 27,000 square meters with investments estimated at about OMR 3 million with the United Vision Investment Company and Al-Maha Foodstuff Company."

The seven factories that will be built are as follows: Drinking water bottling plant, Ice cube factory, Juice Factory, Factory of plastic products, Tomato paste factory, Factory for baby supplies and a Halawa Tahinia Factory.

These projects consist in establishing various food industries with an Omani-Saudi partnership targeting the local market and some foreign markets.
