Z-Corp employees celebrates Oman’s 50th National Day

Muscat: The Zubair Corporation (Z-Corp) and its group companies joined nationwide celebrations to commemorate Oman’s 50th National Day by bringing together its vibrant community of employees at a special event held online.

The event, which was held virtually as per the country’s COVID-19 guidelines, reminisced national achievements, progress and development of the country in the last 50 years.

As part of the celebrations, group of employees spoke about Oman's strong commitment to excellence and progress. They extended their greetings to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and pledgedtheir allegiance and support in his journey to take the country towards progress and prosperity. They reflected upon the life, values and farsightedness of the visionary leader, late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
The programme was attended by Rashad M Al Zubair, chairman of The Zubair Corporation, members of the board of directors, CEOs, top executives and group of employees of the Zubair group of companies.

Speaking on the occasion Rashad M Al Zubair said, “On behalf of Z-Corp and its group companies, it gives me pleasure to extend my heartiest and sincere greetings to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on the glorious occasion of the 50th National Day of our beloved nation. May the Almighty protect and preserve him. We wish His Majesty good health and the people of Oman further glory, progress and prosperity. We also remember with sincere loyalty our cherished leader, late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the architect of Oman's Modern Renaissance.”

He said, “The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has posed great challenges to the world. However, at the same time, the crisis has been a strong driver of creativity and innovation. We too must make the satiation a facilitator of creativity and innovation to ensure continuity and durability of our business. The administration has made great efforts to contain the ravages of COVID-19 and reduce its effects. If it were not for your commitment to hard work and the continuation of the spirit of giving, there is no doubt that the impact would have been more severe.”

Urging the employees to contemplate on the journey ahead, Rashad M Al Zubair said, “The Oman Vision 2040, which is supervised by His Majesty, requires from you - especially in light of the current circumstances - a doubling of effort, firmness, patience and determination in order to achieve the national vision. It needs effective partnership in order to preserve the advancement of modern Omani renaissance and enable the tools of the renewed resurgence.We value your efforts and your generosity, and may God protect Oman, its Sultan, and its people.”

The employees who spoke extended their greetings to His Majesty and said the 50thNational Day is a wonderful occasion to celebrate the prosperity, progress, development,and diversity of this great nation. They said the country has made great progress and has made a strong pledge to excellence. The visionary leadership of His Majesty continues to set new levels of excellence with outstanding achievements in all spheres. They said they will continue to play an active role in the accelerated development of the country and contribute to the fulfilment of Oman Vision.”
