Muscat: Google has changed the doodle on its homepage to reflect Oman’s 50th National Day.
Users who visit the search engine and click on the doodle will be redirected to search results for Oman’s National Day, which falls on 18 November, and celebrates the birthday of the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimour.
On this year’s National Day, people and organisations in the Sultanate pledged their loyalty and congratulations to His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik.
While Google’s doodle has previously reflected the country’s National Day, this year’s features a gold border to mark is golden jubilee.
