Syria's Deputy Prime Minister dies

Muscat: Walid Al-Muallem, the Syrian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has died. He was 79 years of age.  

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said, "The death of the Syrian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Walid Al-Muallem, at the age of 79 years."
