Muscat: New diabetic cases patients in the Sultanate have reached more than 6,000, according to the statistics of the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
According to the data shared by NCSI, new cases of diabetic patients registered in the Sultanate have reached 6,450, which of them 6,115 Omanis and 315 non-Omani.
North Al Batinah Governorate registered the largest percentage of diabetic patients among all the governorates of the Sultanate that estimated at 22 per cent, while Musandam is the lowest percentage among all the governorates and is estimated at 0.8 per cent.
