Injured Arabian deer to be treated by authorities in Oman

Muscat: The Environment Authority has managed to catch an Arabian deer which has an injury in one of its limbs.

A statement issued online by the authority said: "Environmental Authority officials at the Wildlife Protection Unit in Muscat Governorate, in cooperation with the employees of the Ras al-Shajar Reserve of the Environment Conservation Office, managed to catch an injured Arabian deer. It was transported to receive the necessary treatment and follow up on the causes of the infection."

"We invite everyone to participate in preserving wildlife, in support of the efforts made by the authority in protecting and preserving the  wildlife in the Sultanate," the statement added.
