
Muscat: The members of the Supreme Committee are addressing the media from the Ministry of Health headquarters.
1- The Ministry of Health has registered 256 new coronavirus cases and 5 deaths in Oman.
2- Minister of Health: Coronavirus cases in Oman constantly declining.
3- Minister of Health: I hope that the few numbers recorded recently will not be a factor in complacency and lack of commitment to health procedures.
4- Minister of Health: Safeguarding the health of citizens and residents is a priority for His Majesty the Sultan, taking into consideration that it does not affect the economic situations in the country.
5- Mohammed Al Maamari, Undersecretary of Ministry of Religious and Endowment Affairs: We call on everyone to adhere to the guidelines when you visit mosques.
6- MOSD Undersecretary: People in age between 25 to 60 will accept to volunteer, and the priorities for people specialists in medical and lawyer.
7- Minister of Health: The Sultanate’s principle is not to use any vaccine even after studying and after being authorized by the country of origin.
8- Minister of Health: Adherence to the precautionary measures and the night shutdown has had good results, but there are other factors that have led to this.
9- Minister of Health: I assure that the Sultanate of Oman is following -up on all developments about the vaccine, and we hope to get the vaccine before the end of this year.
