Prime Minister of Bahrain dies

Muscat: Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain, has died at the age of 84 at a clinic in the United States of America.

The announcement was made by the Royal Court of Bahrain on Wednesday.

A week of mourning has been announced in the country, media reports said. " Government ministries and departments will be closed for three days starting Thursday," the Bahrain News Agency reported.
