Court of Appeal issues judgement in favour of ONEIC

Muscat: The Court of Appeal has issued a judgment in favour of the Oman National Engineering and Investment Company SAOG (ONEIC) in relation to the case against the Electricity Company. 

A statement issued by Oman National Engineering and Investment Company SAOG (ONEIC) said, ”Oman National Engineering and Investment Company SAOG would like to inform the esteem shareholders and investors that the Court of Appeal has passed on the 8th of November 2020, a judgment in the favor of ONEIC pertaining to the case filed by ONEIC versus Electricity Company for the sum of OMR 804,727.”

“This amount is a current claim related to a billing contract and shall have no effect on the financial results,” the statement added.
