Citizens, residents receive seedlings in celebration of Tree Day

Muscat: The Department of Gardens and Afforestation began distributing seedlings to citizens and residents who wish to obtain them from the Dhofar Municipality's plantation in celebration of Tree Day. 

A statement issued by Municipality of Dhofar said, “In continuation of the activities of the afforestation campaign, which was launched by the Dhofar Municipality in celebration of Tree Day, the Department of Gardens and Afforestation began distributing seedlings to citizens and residents who wish to obtain them from the municipality's plantation. The plantation witnessed a turnout from community members to contribute to afforestation after Dhofar Municipality announced the distribution of seedlings and their provision, in order to strengthen the community partnership between the municipality and the community.“
