OQ signs contracts for assigning social projects

Muscat: OQ in association with Jusoor Foundation signed contracts with local SMEs for seven social projects in North Al Batinah Governorate worth OMR511,650.

The seven signed projects included the OQ social centres project, the project of supplying beach cleaning equipment for cleaning the beaches of North Al Batinah, maintenance of Aldhuwaiqa Falaj and the development of a number of public parks in Sohar, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Office of the Governor of North Al Batinah.

These projects have been assigned to these SMEs through Jusoor Foundation, the non-profit Social Responsibility arm of Sohar Aluminium, Vale and OQ, that aims to promote the local added value through supporting enterprises that provide social projects related construction, consultation and supply services.
