Dar Al Atta’a distributes more than 100 boxes of food items to needy families in Oman

Muscat: Dar Al Atta’a Association recently celebrated the World Food Day by distributing more than 100 boxes of food items among people in need.

The food items included rice, flour, oil, sugar, tea and coffee beans, dates and other items.
The boxes were donated by companies, establishments and individuals for distribution to the needy families on the occasion of the World Food Day which falls on 16 October.

On the occasion, chairperson of Dar Al Atta’a Association, Maryam bint Isa Al Zedjali extended her thanks to all contributing companies and individuals.

She extended her thanks to  Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), Oman Arab Bank, Enhance Group, Al Bustan Palace Hotel, the Embassy of Palestine, Areej Vegetable Oils & Derivatives SAOC and the contributions of individuals.

It is worth mentioning that Dar Al Atta’a Association participates in the celebrations of the World Food Day every year by distribution of food items to the needy families in cooperation with other charitable teams.
