Smuggling network busted in Oman

Muscat: A smuggling network consisting of 13 persons, working to facilitate illegal entry into the country for some criminally wanted persons, has been busted.

The Royal Oman Police said: "The Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested a smuggling network consisting of foreigners and  two citizens, which was working to facilitate illegal entry into the country for some criminally wanted persons from a neighbouring country. "

"The smuggling network was foreign official documents of the infiltrators related to their countries, and the case is under process,"ROP added.
