Muscat: The Muscat International Airport has received the first flight of Kuwait's Al Jazeera Airways on Monday.
The Oman Airports said, “On Monday, Muscat International Airport received the first flight of Kuwait's Al Jazeera Airways, which had launched its direct flights between Muscat and Kuwait, one each on every Monday. Al Jazeera Airways flight arrives at Muscat Airport at 8:35 in the morning and departs at 9:20.”
“The Muscat International Airport recently achieved a new global achievement by obtaining the airport health accreditation certificate by the Airports Council International, as the first airport in the first East to obtain this international classification that was recently approved by the Council in order to control health standards in the world's airports due to the impact of the sector."
"In the view of a global pandemic, precautionary measures followed at Muscat International Airport are in line with the best international standards adopted and an indication of the extent of Oman airports' commitment to applying health and safety measures according to the highest international standards,” the statement added.
