Muscat: Great joy was seen at Indian School Ghubra when the CBSE Senior Secondary Exam results were declared for 2015-2016.
A total of 135 students appeared at the exams in both the science and commerce streams. Out of 77 students who appeared in the science stream, 35 scored an aggregate of more than 90 per cent and 41 out of 58 students in Commerce stream scored an aggregate of above 75 per cent.
In the science Stream, Gayatri Mainkar and Karthik Girish secured 96 per cent and topped the list, followed by Aswin Muraleedharan, Jemmima Richard Gonsalves, Pavithra Ramesh and Ramansh Goyalwith 96 per cent in the second position and Ramesh Swith 95.8 per cent in the third position.
The top position in the commerce stream has been secured by Gayathri Venkatanarayanan with 95.6 per cent, followed by Steve George with 92.8 per cent and Aiman Mohamed Naim with 91.2 per cent.

Physics: Kartik Pandit and Mridula Maria Jacob (98), Chemistry: Kriti Nitin Rajda and Neil Franklin Pereira (99), Biology: Gayatri Mainkar (99), Computer Science: Ramansh Goyal, Srinivas Thiagarajan Kashyap and Uddesh Singh (97), Engineering Graphics: Aswin Muraleedharan, Jemmima Richard Gonsalves, Ramesh S, Minhaj Azeez, Jude Geejo Pullamkalam, Kiran Kishore Gallani, Kezia Jobel Selvakumar, Tanusha Madhusudhan, Shanbag Shivani Ganesh, Anuradha Kota and Revathy Balachandran (99), Mathematics: Kartik Pandit (98).
Individual toppers in the commerce Stream are as follows:

An exceptionally brilliant performance in English was by Aamir Tufail, Karthik Girish, Pavithra Ramesh and Ramansh Goyal who obtained 97 per cent. In Engineering Graphics, 11 students out of the 20 have scored 99 per cent which indeed is a commendable performance.
