Two arrested for dealing in narcotics in Oman

Muscat: Two persons have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), for trafficking in and promoting narcotic substances.

A statement issued online by the ROP said: "The Department of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, led by the Police of Al-Batinah South Governorate, has arrested two persons of Asian nationality on charges of trafficking and promoting narcotic substances and seized from their possession 42 kilograms of crystal drugs. Legal measures are being taken against them."
