Oman's FDI increases by 5.9%

The volume of foreign direct investment in the Sultanate has increased by 5.9 per cent until the end of the first six months of 2020.

According to ONA, there was an increase in the volume of foreign direct investment in the Sultanate until the end of the first quarter of 2020 by 5.9 per cent to reach OMR 15,64,100,000.

The preliminary results of the foreign direct investment performance issued by the NCSI indicated that foreign investment inflows amounted to OMR 851 million.

The United Kingdom ranked first in the volume of foreign direct investments, as the volume of its investment until the end of the first quarter of 2020 reached about OMR 7.544 million.
