Consumer Protection Authority Chairman inspects availability of computers

Muscat: The Chairman of the Consumer Protection Authority has inspected the availability of computers and the appropriateness of their prices at a number of centers and stores that specialized in selling computer devices in the Governorate of Muscat.

A statement issued online by Consumer Protection Authority said, “His Excellency Sulayem bin Ali Al Hikmani, Chairman of the Consumer Protection Authority, is making an inspection visit to a number of centers and stores that specialized in selling computer devices to closely examine the availability of these devices in the market and the suitability of their prices for all segments of society. Also to ensure that the suppliers cooperate with providing real offers to consumers and not exploiting the needs of consumers to raise prices, in conjunction with the beginning of the new academic year."
