One arrested for theft, impersonating police in Oman

Muscat: A person has been arrested on charges of impersonating the police and committing theft in South Sharqiyah.

A statement issued by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), said: “South Sharqiyah Police Command arrested a person on charges of impersonating policemen and forcible theft. He stopped victims and asked for their documents, claiming that he is a policeman. At the time he would steal any cash they had with them.”
