Municipality of South Al Sharqiyah conducts inspection campaign

Muscat: A total of 27 establishments were visited and six health offences were issued, the Municipality of South Al Sharqiyah said. Some items which were deemed unfit for consumption were destroyed. 

A statement issued by the Municipality of South Al Sharqiyah said, “As part of the inspection campaign, the municipality monitored the functioning of the shops in terms of compliance with health and preventive requirements and the extent of their implementation. 27 establishments were visited and six health offences were issued, and some items unfit for consumption were destroyed, estimated at 7 kg.”
