CBO issues silver coin to commemorate UN's 75th anniversary

Muscat: In celebration of the United Nation’s 75th Anniversary, the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) has issued a silver commemorative coin to mark the occasion. The exclusive coin has been issued in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

The front side of the coin depicts a Coat of Arms (Khanjar), the name of the Sultanate of Oman, the name of Central Bank of Oman, and Denomination in Arabic and English. The back-side of the coin depicts a coloured logo of the UN, the occasion’s logo in Arabic, Bahla Fort, and the word The 75th Anniversary of The United Nations”.

It may be noted that this commemorative coin is a Legal Tender for its face value and is available for purchase from Central Bank of Oman starting from 1st of November 2020. The coin is available in a limited quantity.
