Diam signs research agreement with SQU

Muscat: The Public Authority for Water "Diam" and Sultan Qaboos University, represented by the Water Research Centre, have signed a cooperation program to promote scientific research in the field of water and create a general framework to support scientific research and development efforts.

A statement issued online by Diam said, "This program also seeks to encourage and develop cooperation in the field of innovation and scientific research, exchange of studies, research, skills and experiences in the field of water research and technologies in order to find solutions to the challenges facing the water sector."

"The agreement was signed by His Highness Sayyid Dr. Fahad bin Al Julanda Al Said, President of the University, and His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Mahrouqi, Chairman of the Public Authority for Water," the statement added.
