No less than 90% of governorate schools to implement distance education

Muscat: Her Excellency the Minister of Education has granted the directors of all educational directorates in the governorates the authority to implement distance education as a percentage not less than 90 of the governorates schools. 

According to the ministry, there is a discussion to allow grade 12 students to attend full-time or week-by-week studies. In her meeting with the general directors of the educational directorates, the Minister explained that the schools that will implement the integrated education system will be announced with full attendance or week-by-week during the next week through educational directorates.

The Supreme Committee announced yesterday that the school year will start on November 1, and the Ministry stated that educational lessons will be broadcast on Oman Mubasher and Oman Cultural TV channels, as well as on educational platforms.
