Man arrested for vehicle vandalism, theft in Oman

Muscat: A person has been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), on charges of vandalism and theft from several vehicles in Muscat Governorate.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "The General Department of Investigations and Criminal Investigations arrested a person for committing crimes of vandalism and theft of several vehicles in the Governorate of Muscat, where the accused vandalized the vehicles and seized the sums of money and valuable personal belongings inside them. Legal procedures were completed against him."

The Royal Oman Police advised citizens and residents to be cautious and to not leave cash and valuables inside their vehicles.
