Muscat: The General Federation of Oman Workers(GFoW), has recorded 4 reports of workers' rights violation within a span of 5 days.
According to the federation, the reports included deduction of wages, forcing workers to go on unpaid leave, deduction of leaves for quarantine periods from annual leave, and notifications of termination of service.
A statement issued online by the federation said: "11 settlement minutes and a collective work agreement have been signed during the period from 6 to 10 September 2020. The total settlement minutes and collective work agreements amount to 219."
According to the data shared by the Federation, in the period from 6th to 10th September 2020, 4 reports of various violations were monitored.
