Four expats including a woman arrested in Oman for immoral acts

Muscat: Four expatriates, including a woman, have been arrested for practicing immoral acts in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

In a statement issued by Royal Oman Police said: "North Sharqiyah Police Command arrested four suspects of Asian nationality, including a woman of the same nationality, on charges of engaging in acts contrary to public morals."

"The defendants were arrested red-handed in their rented residence in one of the governorate's wilayats, and legal measures have been taken against them," ROP added.

The Royal Oman Police calls on property owners to verify the identity and activities of tenants and to report any practices that violate the morality and public order.
