Child honoured for litter prevention campaign in Oman

Muscat: The Environment Authority has honoured a child who undertook a campaign to educate people to not litter on beaches.

The Authority said in a statement: "A clip is circulating on social media, in which a child is seen distributing roses and educating people on the importance of environment conservation. The child is seen urging them to not throw waste on the beach at Al-Ashkhara in the wilayat of Ja`alan Bani Bu Ali. The environmental departments in North and South Al-Sharqiyah honored the child, Hamad Al Jaafari."
