GCC Healthy Cities Committee holds 6th meeting

Muscat: The Joint Committee of Gulf Healthy Cities, on Monday, convened the 6th virtual meeting to exchange and review the distinguished experiences and expertise of the GCC states, as well as the role of the Gulf healthy cities in combating COVID-19.

The meeting touched upon a number of issues, the most important of which is the GCC unified guide for healthy cities in the GCC States, which prepared by the Ministry of Health, in addition to allocating a Gulf Healthy Cities Day, the mechanisms of assessing health and developmental output for implementing the GCC healthy cities program and the Gulf network for the healthy cities along with other related issues.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Huda bint Khalfan al-Siyabi, Director of Community Health Initiatives in the Directorate General of Primary Healthcare
