Don’t pay rents during closure period, Minister tells commercial, industrial activities

Muscat: Owners of commercial and industrial activities that were shut in the wake of coronavirus have the right “not to pay rents” during the closure period.
Speaking to reporters, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Minister of Health said: “The owners of commercial and industrial activities who were asked to close their shops by a decision of the Supreme Committee, have the full right to not pay the rent during this closure period.”
