National team formed to study rainwater drainage in Dhofar

Muscat: The Dhofar Municipality has announced the formation of a national team to study rainwater drainage in the governorate. The Muncipality said that the teama would include experts from the fields of natural sciences, soil and water management, geology, water engineering and experts in civil engineering and urban planning.

"The Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar approves the formation of the national team to prepare a study on rainwater drainage," a statement said. 89 applications were received for team membership and nine members were selected based on their qualifications and experience.
