Minister of Health praises Omani doctor for conducting rare procedures

An Omani doctor has been praised by the Minister of Health for conducting rare operations worldwide.H.E. Dr. Ahmed Al Saeedi, Minister of Health made a phone call to Dr. Hamad Al-Kalbani, at the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the Sorbonne University in Paris, France.The Omani doctor participated in human heart transplants and artificial heart operations, as part of a medical surgical team at La Petite Salpetriere Hospital in France.In addition, Al Kalbani participated in publishing a scientific article about Artificial heart transplant “Syncardia" under the title “transitioning to total artificial heart”.
