Muscat: The Ministry of Health has registered 163 new coronavirus cases and 6 deaths in Oman on Thursday.
The total cases in the country has now touched 83,769, including 78,386 recoveries and 609 deaths, according to MOH.
In the past 24 hours, 198 recoveries were reported.
The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary.
