Obama advisor to deliver lecture in Oman

Muscat: A campaign advisor to former US President Barack Obama will deliver an online lecture on how people can communicate effectively, and its importance during testing times such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
Roger Fisk, who played a significant role in the ex-President’s back-to-back victories in 2008 and 2012, will speak about the tools required for people to get their point across clearly and precisely. The event has been organised by Knowledge Oman, as part of its ongoing webinar series, and will be overseen by renowned conference moderator Roy Sheppard, a former BBC News anchor.
Speaking in context to the webinar, which is called ‘Communications in the 21st Century: Big Ideas, Millions of People’, Balqees Al Hassani, Knowledge Oman Webinars Leader, said: “We are honoured to host and bring on-board Roger Fisk along with Roy Sheppard for engaging and enriching the public in the fourth session of our virtual webinar series.
