Ten houses in Muscat being run on solar power

Muscat: Ten houses in Muscat governorate are being run on solar power, the Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) said.
MEDC said in a statement: "Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC), - one of the Nama Group companies - recently examined and installed solar cells in a number of homes, bringing the total number of houses powered by solar energy in Muscat to 10, and the number is expected to rise to 36 by the end of 2020."
"MEDC assists individuals and institutions wishing to connect their solar systems to produce electricity, either individually or for commercial or industrial purposes, by facilitating the connection request process, providing workshops, and making the necessary arrangements for the participation of stakeholders,"the statement added.
