Japanese ambassador to Oman pays courtesy call on Health Minister

Muscat: Japan's Ambassador to the Sultanate Kobayashi Toshinori, and Honorary Chairman of Japanese Association in Oman, and Nakamura Kei, Chairman of Japanese Association in Oman, on Wednesday paid a courtesy call on Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Minister of Health. On behalf of Japanese Association in Oman, they expressed deep gratitude for health care workers fighting against COVID-19 to contain the spread of this pandemic and care for patients around the clock in Oman. At the end of the meeting, as an expression of sincere gratitude to Oman, they handed over to the Minister frankincense candies made in Japan with Omani frankincense and Japanese paper craft “Senba-Zuru (one thousand cranes)”, which was folded by Japanese living in Oman praying for safety and peace of health care workers.
