Urgent call for blood donation made in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Bank Services (DBBS) has made an urgent appeal for people to come forward and donate blood.

The DBBS said in a statement: "Due to a shortage of blood donors, We appeal to everyone to take the initiative to donate blood so, that we can provide it to patients who need blood transfusion."

"Kindly contact the blood bank to book an appointment for blood donation by calling 94555648," the statement added.
