These areas in Oman have reported no new cases today

Muscat: Several areas in Oman have reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, according to stats from the Ministry of Health.

Data from the Tarassud COVID-19 monitoring app shows that two wilayats in North Al Sharqiyah – Qabil and Wadi Bani Khalid, reported no fresh cases of the disease.

Similarly, the Wilayat of Al Hamra in the Governorate of Dakhiliyah, and the Wilayat of Sunainah in Al Buraimi both showed no new positive tests for COVID-19. Two more areas in South Al Sharqiyah – Jalan Bani Bu Hasan and Masirah island – also had no fresh cases come back.

In Oman’s northern Governorate of Musandam, Wilayat Dibba and Wilayat Bukha both reported no new positive cases of the disease, and it was the same in the central area of Wusta, where both Wilayat Duqm and Wilayat Haima both reported no additional positive cases of COVID-19.

76,005 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Oman so far. Of these, 55,299 people have been cured of the disease, while 20,322 continue to have the disease.

384 people have unfortunately lost their lives from the virus, and nearly 300,000 tests have been conducted so far.
