No hotline to bypass closure rules: Royal Oman Police

Muscat: There are no hotlines that people can call to obtain permission to venture out during the period of closure, the Royal Oman Police has said, quashing rumours that such hotlines were present in each governorate of Oman.

Stating that a message was being circulated, indicating hotline numbers to call for permission to venture out and cross checkpoints for emergency situations, the Royal Oman Police said that this was false news.
