Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) held a meeting with a number of traders to ensure the availability of food items in all governorates of the Sultanate. The ministry said, "In the context of the precautionary measures approved by the Supreme Committee and in continuation of the efforts made by the Ministry, the MoCI has coordinated with government agencies, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, local factories and suppliers to ensure the availability of food and other commodities in all governorates of the Sultanate.
Mubarak Al Duhani, Director General of Trade at MOCI asserted: "Food items are available in all governorates. I urge all consumers to not rush out to buy in excess, and to buy as per their needs as the shops and stores have sufficient consumer products."
