UNGA President hails Oman's foreign policy

Muscat: The world needs countries like the Sultanate that seek to build bridges between countries and support peace, Volkan Bozkir, President of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) said.
Praising Dr. Muhammad bin Awad Al Hassan, the Sultanate’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Bozkir said Oman's foreign policy is based on respecting the principles of the United Nations Charter and international law, which has earned the country international respect.

The UNGA president said: "The Sultanate support peaceful resolution of disputes, and encourage building of trust among states and peoples."
