Funds approved for 248 research projects

Muscat: The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation has announced its approval to fund for 248 research projects within the competency-based research support program in 28 government and private institutions in the Sultanate after the completion of the signing of the research support and funding agreements for the research proposals approved for the year academic 2020/2021, as the application period for the program ended in last June, and then all the proposals received were reviewed and made sure that they comply with the announced research funding conditions. 

The value of the financial amounts provided to support and finance approved research projects amounted to OMR 1.2 million distributed at various academic levels, such as research projects for doctoral holders, research projects for masters and doctoral students, and others for students of academic institutions, in addition to the research of students at their own expense outside the Sultanate.
