Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested a person for blackmailing and threatening a girl through a social media application.
A statement issued online by ROP said, "The Al Dhahirah Governorate Police Command arrested a person on charges of blackmailing and threatening a girl through a social media application and violating the Telecommunications Regulatory Law. The legal procedures are being completed against him ."
