Fake news circulated on social media about academic year 2020-2021

Muscat: The Ministry of Education has termed that fake news is being circulated through social media about the postponement of the academic year 2020/2021. 

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Education said, "There is no truth to what is being circulated about postponing the academic year 2020/2021."

"The Ministry calls for taking information from its official source."
