Pharmacies on night-shift duty exempted from movement ban: MOH

Muscat: Pharmacies on night-shift duties have been allowed to continue their work during the movement ban, the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday. 

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Health said, ”Given the importance of the availability of pharmaceutical services, it has been decided that pharmacies who are on night-shift duty are allowed to continue their work during the movement ban, according to the shift schedule issued by the General Directorate of Pharmacy and Drug Control at the Ministry of Health, as well as pharmacies that operate around the clock.”

This came in line with the measures taken by the Supreme Committee in charge of following up developments resulting from the spread of the COVID-19, and its decision to prevent movement from Sunday, 11th October 2020, until 24th October 2020.
