Three, five-star hotels in Oman record over 56% drop in guests

Muscat: The number of guests at three to five-star hotels in Oman till August 2020 has reduced by 56.6 per cent. 

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said, "The total number of guests at three to five-star hotels in the Sultanate decreased until the end of August 2020 by 56.6 per cent to reach 491,025. The revenues of three to five-star hotels by the end of August 2020 amounted to about OMR 61,386,000.

"While the occupancy rate reached 27.5 per cent by the end of August 2020," the statement added.
