Expatriate group arrested for illegal gathering in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested a group of expats on charges of gathering, in violation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with Covid-19.

A statement issued online by the ROP said, "The North Al Sharqiyah Police Command stopped a group of Asian expatriates for gathering in violation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19. Legal procedures are being completed against them."
