Over 300 wild trees planted in Al Buraimi

Muscat: A total of 370 wild trees have been planted in Al Buraimi governorate as part of the national initiative to plant 10 million wild trees.

The Environment Authority said in a statement: "As part of the national initiative to plant 10 million wild trees, and as a continuation of the cultivation campaign implemented by the Environment Department in Al Buraimi Governorate, the administration planted 370 wild trees in Wasit region, in cooperation with government institutions and members of the local community."

Previously, 1,500 wild trees were planted in the wilayat of Sunaynah in Al Buraimi governorate in cooperation with Petroleum Development Oman PDO and the Environment Department.
