Khimji’s House of Travel facilitates 100th commercial charter flight

Muscat: As the Thiruvananthapuram flight took off from Muscat recently, Khimji's House of Travel completed the facilitation of 100 commercial charter flights. The onset of the pandemic in March created a serious situation for thousands of people who were stranded and the necessity for the charters was urgent and immediate.
Speaking on this occasion, Bhupesh Chowdary COO, Projects & Logistics Cluster of KR stated, “We thank all regulatory authorities, associations, trade partners, our airline partners, and finally our team members for their support in ensuring that all arrangements are carried out smoothly. We are also grateful that our clients trusted us completely to be able to service them during these difficult times.”
Cashio Vettom, GM, Khimji's House Of Travel stated, “We have strived to support all requests from people in need which included repatriation from Oman and bringing back students stranded in different parts of the world.  All our clients were treated with the utmost care and empathy during our interactions.”
“Considering the dire need of the situation, 10 deserving passengers were booked free of charge on the Muscat –Thiruvananthapuram flight this morning,” Vettom added.
Since the past few months, Khimji’s House of Travel has been operating charters with various airlines to the Indian Subcontinent. On June 18, the first charter took off from Salalah to Calicut for the Kerala Muslim Cultural Center (KMCC) Oman. Along with the many charters operated for India, Khimji’s House of Travel has also been pivotal in connecting people between Oman and different parts of the world.
