Pact for management of new warehouse in Al Sawadi inked

Muscat: Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) signed an agreement with Al Madina Logistics (AMLS) for the management of OOMCO’s new central warehouse.

The integrated logistics solutions and services company will take over handling and maintaining storage of all products, along with operations of the new storage facility in Al Sawadi.\

This partnership with AMLS allows the fuel marketing company to build on its reputation as the most customer-centric fuel marketer in both consumer and business-to-business aspects, and allows it to invest in local human capital and fully satisfy customer needs.

“We are always working on building long-term and equally beneficial partnerships with local companies. Our latest agreement with Al Madina Logistics is a great addition to this portfolio, and their expertise, equipment and information technology will certainly be an added value to our operations,” said Ali Muqaibal General Manager of Strategy, Business Development, Marketing and Digital at Oman Oil Marketing Company.

“Our 3PL logistics partnership with OOMCO has spanned several years, and we welcome this opportunity to extend our 4PL warehouse management services to them as a continuation of the trust OOMCO has placed in us,” said Mahmood Sakhi Al Balushi, CEO of Al Madina Logistics.

“Al Madina Logistics has seen solid growth in the warehouse management sector, showing that the model works and provides the cost efficiencies needed to allow customers to focus on their core business functions and be more competitive,” he added.

“Combining Oman Oil Marketing Company’s customer centric approach with Al Madina Logistics’ leading solutions will improve the logistics support for our products and provide excellent service to our clients,” said Talib Omar Al Maadi General Manager of Supply Chain at Oman Oil Marketing Company.

“As a company with a large service portfolio, we continuously focus on enriching the experiences of our business and consumer clients and fulfilling their needs as best as we could,” he further added

This agreement with Al Madina Logistics is one of many collaborations the company has developed with local corporations that provide services with passion and care.

Today, OOMCO maintains a network of 225 service stations and 108 Ahlain Convenience Stores located throughout all regions of the Sultanate and aims to be among the top 5 fuel marketers in the GCC by 2025.
