Muscat: The Minister of Labour has issued a decision to review tables and cards for job description, and the organisational structures of the civil units in the state’s administrative apparatus.
His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mahad bin Said bin Ali Ba'owain, Minister of Labour, issued Ministerial Resolution No. 285/2020, which has the following articles:
Article 1: Working groups shall be formed to review job descriptions and tables and cards for jobs and organisational structures for civil units in the state’s administrative apparatus and their divisions and administrative functions.
The working groups shall be divided into three different teams and members of each team will follow up with a group of institutions.
Article 3: His Excellency Saeed bin Hamad Al Ameri will follow up and review the job schedule and job description cards for jobs before they are approved.
Article 4: The work teams referred to in Article 1 of this decision shall submit the results of their work every three weeks to the Undersecretary for Human Resources Development at the ministry, in preparation for submitting them to us, and the teams may seek the assistance of whomever they deem appropriate.
Article 5: The work of the team ends with placing the employees on the approved jobs in the civil state administrative apparatus units.
